Michael McGrath:
- Five years senior management experience in international construction project management.
- Managing director of two UK-based consultancies since returning from South Africa ten years ago. Twenty years practice in business improvement and re-engineering projects in the UK, Europe, Southern Africa and Asia, which have included analysis, implementation and executive management.
- Ex-British Army Colonel, Royal Corps of Signals.
- Carried out business continuity planning for strategic communications systems and field force headquarters.
- Responsible for IT security for the Guinness Group (Diageo) and has completed business continuity planning assignments for a variety of clients including for an international oil company to act in response to a potentially hostile environment.
- Experienced in business process re-engineering, business planning, performance management and change programme benefits management.
- Senior manager in major manufacturing operations for 18 years.
- Six years as a senior consultant leading on a number of process improvement projects. Business continuity planning assignments include work with the Civil Nuclear Constabulary, upstream and downstream oil industry, foundry and metal packaging business.
- Ex-US Infantry Colonel, Engineering and Security Services.
- Has hands-on experience of business continuity planning, working on projects for refineries and other major site operations including for an international oil company to act in response to a potentially hostile environment.
- Graduate of US Military Academy West Point and holds a Masters degree in strategic planning and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
